Teton Valley Food Pantry Update June 28, 2020
Food Distributions through September 2020
Mondays from 12:00pm - 2:00pm
Wednesdays from 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Fridays from 10:00am - 2:00pm
The Food Pantry continues its commitment to providing a safe and steady source of food for anyone in need.
All food is being ordered directly through the Idaho Food Bank, US Foods and Broulim’s. Volunteers and staff are wearing gloves and masks at all times when handling food and interacting with clients.
Currently, the Food Pantry is distributing food through a Personal Shopper model where clients choose from a list of the food items most needed in their household. Then volunteers fill each order based on household size. The Food Pantry is continuing to limit households to one visit per week at any of the three distribution times.
Sign-in for distributions is all verbal and, as always, all information is completely confidential.
The best way to help is though cash donations to help purchase food or to volunteer your time to assist with stocking or distributing food. Donations can be made through the Food Pantry website www.tvfoodpantry.com. Volunteers may call 208-354-1658 or email sue@tvfoodpantry.com.

Food Distributions for the rest of April & May will be as follows, until further notice:
Mondays from 12:00pm - 2:00pm
Wednesdays from 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Fridays from 10:00am - 2:00pm
The Food Pantry continues its commitment to providing a safe and steady source of food for anyone in need.
Prepared bags of food will be available at the Food Pantry via a curbside model. We ask that one family at a time come to the outside door at the site to pick up food. You will see us wearing gloves and probably face masks for your safety.
Sign-in for distributions is all verbal for now. As always, all information is completely confidential.
For now, we are continuing to limit families to one Food Pantry visit per week.
Also for now, the majority of food is being ordered through the Idaho Food Bank and US Foods to ensure a safe and steady source of food.
We appreciate the wonderful support from all areas of the community – individuals and businesses.

We're here to help.
We will be open to distribute food every Wednesday evening 5:00pm - 7:00pm and every Friday 10:00am - 2:00pm.
For now, we will have prepared bags of food for children, adults and seniors.
Also for now we are limiting families to one Pantry visit per week.

Teton Valley Food Pantry assures clients, volunteers and our community that scheduled operations are continuing while the nation deals with the COVID-19 outbreak. We are following communication from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure that clients and volunteers remain safe and healthy during this time.
The Teton Valley Food Pantry is working hard to help the people who need us most. We recognize the coronavirus’ impact on our most vulnerable community members – low income families, adults 60 and older, and children.
We will be working closely with the Idaho Food Bank, Feeding American and other local partners to ensure we have the resources needed to serve our clients.
You can help by contributing at the Shop for the Pantry drive at Broulim’s today or by making a donation through the Food Pantry’s website, www.tvfoodpantry.com. The goal is to keep our shelves stocks with nutritious options for the weeks ahead.
